Having pride in the state we love, Continental “Divine” Catering would like you to join us in making your event green! By applying our Green Package, your support for a better Colorado is shown…the production of compostable materials requires less energy to manufacture and is greenhouse gas neutral; glass produced from recycled glass reduces related air pollution by 20% and related water pollution by 50%.
Your celebration is Colorado’s preservation!
- Continental “Divine” is a member of the Colorado Proud Initiative, working to support local farms and industries.
- Bio degradable / Compostable plates, cups, cutlery (we will appropriately display signage on the composting nature of the products so that your guests are aware of your step to bettering the environment).
- Water Stations – no plastic bottles are used. Stylish Water Containers are displayed with lemon slices and compostable 10oz cups for your guests to enjoy.
- Menu Designs - buying seasonal items from local providers, incorporating the Colorado Proud initiative. Promoting 50% of food selection to include fruits and/or vegetables.
- No individual containers – coffee condiments assembled from bulk into containers, picnic condiments in bottles versus individual pieces, butter balls or bulk butter in glass bowls versus butter chips.
- Recycling and Composting Bins – labeled and staffed so that your guests know what items to place where. Continental “Divine” will then organize for the pick up of the recycled and composted waste.
- Menu Signs and Marketing Material printed on recyclable paper.
